Source hierarchy
Current official product documentation is preferred for capability and access claims. Regulators anchor legal and disclosure guidance. Company-authored third-party profiles are accepted only as provider claims, never as independent validation.
Scope discipline
A source proving people search does not prove reverse email input. A page proving a free first search does not prove a free full report. A breach record does not prove sender identity or malicious intent.
Dates and freshness
The launch ledger was checked on September 3, 2026. High-change facts such as product access, pricing and workflow are rechecked before a page update; stale evidence is not silently reused.
How corrections work
A correction request should name the page, exact statement, supporting primary source and requested change. We preserve a change note for material corrections rather than quietly rewriting the conclusion.
Open evidence gaps
The largest gaps are Radaris’s current direct email workflow, VeriPages’s live free-result boundary and comparable hands-on results across all reviewed providers. Those gaps are visible on relevant pages.
